Profile and Experience
Drawing is now central to my work. I work in pastels and have returned to charcoal. I hope to show new work soon. I continue as a photographer. My technical background supports me in my camera work, in digital editing in Lightroom and in my creative work with Photoshop.
I pursued art and photography while working to support a family during the 1990s. I started my art studio, Muskrat Studio, in 2006. Currently I am focusing on new directions in charcoal drawings, pastels, and photography. Past work includes figurative drawings in charcoal, graphite, and scenes in pen and ink. I have modest experience in painting portraits in acrylics and oils. I have done work in sculpture. I recently completed a digital art project re-working photographs and shots taken of a selected set of charcoal drawings to develop digital abstracts. The project is now complete and the work shown.
